From the looks of things I'll be the last Deuce user around here so I'll turn out the lights and take the flag with me when I leave.

LOL Artie,if the truth was known there are still plenty of us deuce users around. It's a handy sidekick with a computer for a quick look up here and there.Have noticing the one thing e mail for some reason doesn't show attachments sometimes or the mail is a lot of coding. That's when I hit the mobile hotmail on the favs key and view it there. It being able to use BB will probably keep it on life support longer than the old webtv.I just wish the TV2 team would keep more of an open line with us testers.I hope somone can get the non flash url for Radio Shack and post it.Being someone posted in one of the alt/dis groups there was a non flash website for Radio Shack. No Artie we're still here just reluctant to admit it.Carolina Mike!

Yep, I'm on the TV2 right now even though I have a PC.
It's just more convient and it isn't blasting heat on me . I don't have to wear shades because of the glare of a white screen staring at me either.
Having the TV across the room is much more convient than having the monitor up close and personal; I gather that is why so many are going Mac-Mini or Google TV . . or some such. It's too bad that those newer devices can't handle a CRT TV. . because I have two of 'em , don't want to trash 'em to use newer devices!

Yep I still have an extended warranty till 06/2011 on my CRT TV.As long as it holds out no use replacing a perfectly working TV.The lights may be growing dimmer for the deuce but they ain't out yet!The price for a mini-mac is kinda more than I want to pay though. Carolina Mike! |

Also on box right now. Haven't awaken laptop from sleep mode all day. Been in living room and being a couch potatoe up here in the mountains. Switching back in forth from T.V. to Msntv, to mostly check, send mail and lurk on a couple of forums and sites. With higher speed broadband, no issues opening mail attachments, except for the few non supported, such as pps.
Most likely keep using box as long as a tester and it suits my limited use of Msntv2.
Take care, _________________ Mike

I know it sounds wierd Mike but some mails I get will be describing something and I scroll down and nothing shows.Sometimes I get emails and they will be just a mess of coding. The I go to mobile hotmail and everything shows up fine there. If you don't mind the next time I get one of these attachless mails I will email it to you and see if it shows on your TV2.Dardest thing I ever experienced.Did file a bug on this issue and used the report problem too. It's like some folks have problems with amazon.com and some don't.Been using the full site since TV2 came out and after about a minute on there I always get the blue power off page.It will all come out in the wash anyway, when ever that is! If for some reason you actully had to USE that warranty unless they can fix the set it would be hard to produce a replacement. They have more or less stopped production of CRT sets . If you do see any on the market they are leftovers from the warehouse. It would be interesting how a warrantee claim would be handled. _________________ DSL BB
